Rey is found in the wilds outside of civilization as a child. A few short years pass without a single family member coming forward to claim the lost girl, which is dangerous for an omega. Without protection or a related alpha to soft assist, she was on track to simply find an alpha early, or get an exception to a heat-house. Her biology surprised everyone as she is the youngest omega to hit her heat, at thirteen she is forced into a world she isn't ready for. Kylo vows to help her find a kind alpha but in the end, he can't let her pick another, believing only he has the willpower to ease her without crossing the thin moral line. If only that line would stop blurring.

The lightning illuminates the sky giving Rey the perfect look at the scar that runs from his eyebrow down to his shoulder. The scar that she carved onto his face the last time they met. His saber, the one that filleted Finn’s back, the one that was thrust through Han Solo's chest, cackling and sputtering down at his side; his face, completely passive. Rey is instantly confused. Why did he chase her all the way up here just to put his saber down?
