Instead of All Might saving Midoriya from the Sludge Villain, it was Iida. Well technically, it was an overpriced car being driven by a morally rainbow Rat God, but same thing.

It turns out that quirkless people are a lot more common than the world would like to think, especially in heroics.

Hiding in plain sight always was the best way to do things, Midoriya supposed.

AKA: Heroes pretend to have quirks(More or less deliberately), but Midoriya's got them all figured out.

When Midoriya asked him why he didn't wink to increase his quirk's potential, Aizawa nearly cried.

How was Midoriya supposed to know that every time he did the person reacted.... interestingly.

The five (5) times Aizawa accidentally got the interest of villains (Romantically) and the one (1) time Midoriya did (Platonically)

Midoriya blinked widely at the camera, stepping back closer to the whiteboard positioned behind him. A crudely drawn bird was (quite pathetically) sketched in the corner, sadly staring into the lens.

“Bird-watching,” Midoriya began, fishing out an erasable pen from his pocket, “A fun, exciting and healthy hobby.” He indicated towards his bird drawing. “The yakuza. Bad.” He held out a thumbs-down.

“In this video, I’ll be explaining how it would hypothetically be financially beneficial for the Shie Hassaikai to quit crime and turn to professional bird watching.”

    Summary

Namgyu takes the cross and looks at it like it’s the only thing that matters. Technically it does. He sees how the necklace has specks of his blood and he bites his lip to avoid it trembling again.

He looks around to see the dormitory decimated and the X side crumbling after that failed rebellion. The X voters are going to lose again, and everyone knows it.

Namgyu is glad that they will lose. Then he can get his chance. He can do it. He can kill that motherfucker MG Coin. He can stop feeling all this guilt he’s had since the fight in the bathroom. He can finally say he avenged Thanos.

He knows it won’t be easy. Myunggi is unfortunately actually smart. He can’t just sneak up on him. He has to play it safe for now. He has to find a way to eliminate player 333 without breaking the rules and getting shot. He has to make MG Coin think he’s in control.

Namgyu has to make him die, no matter what it takes.

    Bookmarker's Notes

Remembered this out of nowhere and had to reread it. It's just as beautiful and depressing as when I first read it, even though I'm not in the fandom anymore and have already moved on from it.
