It doesn’t skip his notice. Now that he’s looking at her, really looking at her, he can see how her face flushes a little at the mention of Takeba. Her cheeks bloom with this slight pink hue.
Which he squints at, like he didn’t much understand why someone’s face might turn that colour. In his defense, he wasn’t quite expecting it, but she seems to crack under the pressure of his scrutiny because she startles and looks away.
Oh, he thinks. So that’s how it is.
Fuuka messes up dinner. Shinjiro tries to figure out what's bothering her.

“You’re welcome to say whatever’s on your mind, Yamagishi.” Akihiko keeps his gaze on the girl as he leans forward for good measure, assuring his body language remains open and inviting—both primary examples of active listening.
“I know.” Yamagishi rewards his reassurance with a small smile. She takes another moment to gather her thoughts before her posture straightens. “I was wondering… Sanada-senpai, would you be willing to teach me how to fight?”

“It’s not for me,” Yuki interjects bluntly. When Akihiko blinks, he continues, “I just thought you might want to have something to keep your mind busy, on Monday.”
…Akihiko goes back to scratching his temple. In general, he doesn’t like to have a lot of spare time. Leaves his mind room to wander, and also, there’s too much that he needs to be doing, in lieu of sitting around and doing nothing. What a waste that would be. That’s an always thing, not a Monday thing though, and Akihiko is going to say as much before Yuki adds a third thought:
“Aragaki-san said I shouldn’t throw you a party.”
Oh. Monday. September 22nd. Akihiko frowns at his pencil, then sets it down next to his textbook.
“So you wanted to do… a bouldering party?”
“I wanted to go bouldering,” Yuki clarifies. “You and me.”

Summary
Yosuke speeds up his step, lost in thought, not even bothering to look where he’s going. He knows his racing mind will lead him home somehow.
His partner– Their leader, is infesting Yosuke’s mind.
It’s probably something about his charm. Probably something like envy about the swarms of girls chatting about the cool exchange student while he stands there gawking - no better than those girls - and feels feelings that really, really should not be there.
There are not many things Naoto Shirogane does not understand. It’s in the name, after all. It’s a guarantee, the name, it has been for generations. But there is something that eludes him. Him. That is elusive. The way his body feels wrong – even after accepting his shadow self and awakening his persona, even after acknowledging that he can never truly be a man.

The hands on his wrists, and his chains clinking, and then suddenly he’s dead weight slamming into the ground, into his own pool of drying blood, aggravating every injury and tearing a second-nature scream from his throat. He couldn’t move if he wanted to, laying there with his infected eye-socket in cooling sanguine fluid.
Majima vaguely registers a hand on his shoulder, carefully rolling him over onto his back. His head doesn’t touch the cold floor, held up by something.
And he sees, finally, in the haze, a pair of soft brown eyes staring down at him. They’re all he makes out.
Someone is speaking once more, and he knows he must be dreaming that same old dream again, because he whispers from a broken body, “Saejima?”
But this time, right as his sight starts fading out, his limbs turning to lead, he remembers the eyes creasing in stark confusion.

Summary
Six months after averting the Death Stranding and Die-Hardman taking over the presidency of the UCA, Deadman begrudgingly acceps an offer of the head of reaserch over the health of citizens who used to be classified as DOOMs sufferers in the past. Said job comes with being assigned to a reaserch station in a quaint, renovated lodge surrounded by forest, with a beautiful view of the sea, and seven days on foot away from the nearest settlement.
Soon enough, old faces from the past, ones that Deadman thought that he will never see again, show up in the isolated home. While Sam was concerned about his daughter's health and development, it's the new father's condition Deadman is more worried by; Soon enough, the two men strike a deal- Sam and Lou are allowed to stay at Deadman's home to live and heal for as long as they need to, while Deadman gets to live in a proximity of other people and not go crazy out of isolation.
The arrangement seems perfect; That is, untill Deadman's feelings towards Sam start to develop into something beyond simple roommate cordiality.Series
