Megatron was tasked to fill in his late older brother’s pedes for transformermation research known as Alt forms, on a distant planet; Cybertron, from here he is to learn the ways of the inhabitants in order to exploit the riches of raw energon. The sentence hangs alongside the rush of the shower, bouncing around the side of the tub. Bouncing around inside Ryland’s far too curious brain. Ryland sighs. “Why?”
Simon doesn’t point out the way his voice cracks, a small mercy. “Wasn’t sure you even bothered with lowly things like…in-flight self service.”

And it broke D-16's spark to think about it.
Optimus Prime woke up as Orion Pax again, and though he panics at first, he realizes the opportunity at hand to fix where things went wrong. He wants to save D-16 from becoming Megatron and prevent the war that destroyed Cybertron. He would set things right this time, and he wouldn’t lose anyone else.
If only he would stop seeing those red optics on his best friend’s face.
