Summary
Stormz laughs before immediately elbowing Dumb.
“C’mon, one painting, just one,” he says, the grin on his face audible in his voice, “what’s the harm in that.”
Dumb rolls their eyes. They have next to no interest in painting, much less painting Stormz. Who even knows where Stormz got the idea from.
“Absolutely not,” Dumb smirks back before batting away Stormz and adjusting their bag again, “Aha!” They say with sarcasm laced in their voice, “I know exactly what I want to do today! Sit inside for four hours painting my friend! Right as it’s starting to get warm again!”
“Ok, fine,” Stormz laughs again, “but I want one someday.”

Kaveh raises his hands, palms up. "I have nothing to give, Al-Haitham," he says, and the other's eyes grow fierce.
"You do not have nothing, Kaveh," Al-Haitham says roughly. "You may have buried yourself in your self-doubt, but you are relentless. You shine even when the moon takes governance of the sky."
Kaveh gapes at Al-Haitham. "So what I'm hearing," he says slowly, "is that you will not kick me out for the time being."
"What you're hearing is that I will wait for you," says Al-Haitham.
After all this time, Kaveh has yet to unpack his bags.
