Sage climbs the Peak of Truth to try and get Recluse to come to the Town Square for a small festival happening. He finds the other in the middle of a pretty funny predicament.

Summary
None court quite like how the peacock does. Extravagant, obnoxious and ever-present. They were impossible to ignore, and Truthless Recluse was doing all he could whenever one continued to insist on courting him at his door. Yet, for as lost as the Sage of Truth seems in his seemingly desperate attempts for the hermit's attention, when a revelation comes his true feelings can no longer be ignored.

Summary
He felt Sage's soft hand move to his hair, their fingertips combing through the tangled mess.
Truth held back a flinch, nausea rising through his stomach.
It'd felt so nice to be warm again, to be loved gently, even if he'd hardly been aware of it. Even if he didn't remember it through the fog of his mind. But it didn't feel good anymore, not with the sudden realization that he was still alive and being perceived.
OR:
Truth(less) has a breakdown because dissociating feels better than being present. And also because he keeps being reminded of being assaulted.

Vampires are not inherently evil, but desperation drives many of them.
They need blood to function, not technically to live. Without blood they become: weak and shaky, mentally foggy, extremely hungry (their stomach growls constantly), physically frail and slow. If starvation goes on too long, they can barely stand and become easy prey for Hunters.
Because of this, many Vampires attack villages and traveling caravans, especially during winter when prey is scarce. Some kingdoms even capture Vampires and enslave them, forcing them to work in mines, farms, or magic laboratories. They’re given just enough blood to stay alive. So Vampires see Hunters as monsters.

Hunters were originally created to defend kingdoms. But over time, they became feared themselves.
Most hunters believe: All Vampires are dangerous. Mercy only creates more deaths. Capture or kill immediately. Music is their spell and curse.
They’re trained to suppress empathy toward Vampires. To the public, Hunters are heroes. To Vampires, they’re executioners.
