Summary
Although the War of the Decays of Angels had ended, a new danger is bearing down on Atsushi and Yokohama not long after because he was the key to finding “The Book”, an unlawful organization’s target, and once again, poses a threat to his life and those he loves. He wanted to stay far away from the Armed Detective Agency but couldn’t stand the loneliness and unintentionally let Akutagawa, his unwilling partner and enemy heard it. Immediately, he made an unexpected proposal to Atsushi.

Akutagawa pauses, though not because he is a man who listens to orders, but because of the unmistakable strain in Atsushis voice.
"Wait...I—fine. Okay.” There is a shaky sigh, then the rustle of fabric and a sudden flare of that sweet honey scent, sharp and intoxicating in the way that leaves no room to breathe.
No room for logical thought as Akutagawa turns.
And he shouldn’t have turned. Shouldn’t have even left the palace in the first place.
