Summary
Hades and Poseidon have put a vote to the Council of the Gods: removal of the non-interference rules for Percy, Annabeth, and Nico. Tartarus is no place for mortals, and it is clear that the three of them are buckling under the lingering shadows of The Pit. It passes near unanimously - the Council pays their debts, and journeying to the worst place in existence is well worth respite and recovery.
Percy, unfortunately, is immediately sidetracked. Why is Zeus poisoned? Why has no one noticed before him? Who is insane enough to slip something in Zeus’s drink? And why is this his problem? Is he really going to have to break his promise to Annabeth not to control poison again?

What was happening? Hades was a thousand-year-old god. He had seen empires rise and fall. He had seen humans commit acts of heroics and atrocities. He had seen Blockbuster go out of business. Nothing should faze anymore.
And yet… his son was making a valiant attempt at his sanity.
“I have no other explanation for why you have lost your ability to think and reason,” Hades told him shortly. “Are there other obvious things I should forbid while we are on the matter? Should I tell you not to bomb Olympus? Not to die?”
“I’m going to die someday.”
“Leave me,” Hades snapped at him. Unbelievable. Nico took a long intake of breath. “You don’t need to sigh at every little thing,” he added sharply. Nico paused. “Your life is not that taxing.”
“It’s not that-? I’ve been to Tartarus!”
“And what an impression it has made on you given that you are trying to return!”
Who tried to return to Tartarus? His son. That’s who. Maria was going to somehow appear and figure out how to kill a god.
Or
Nico said Hades forbade anyone from going in Tartarus and I just want to know what that conversation looked like.

In more than one universe the one who finds Apollo once he has been thrown off Mount Olympus, once he has fallen from the sky, landed in a dumpster, been renamed Lester Papadopoulos, and has been robbed, is none other than Meg McCaffery, orphan, neglected daughter of Demeter, and adopted child of Nero and The Beast contained within – which is, of course, just Nero himself, but that is a realization for a later time.
This universe is special, this one differs, in the fact that while the so-called ‘Lester’ appears to be sixteen when he crashes into that dumpster, he does not stay that age.
His new identity, the name he has been assigned, did not come in the form of a junior driver’s license, but a library card.
By the time the two of them, Meg and Apollo — both still slightly bleeding and injured from their earlier fight — have made it to the apartment of the Jackson-Blofis family, he has, in fact, shrunken all the way down to toddlerhood and is panicking accordingly.

So it explores, and finds a world where the gods do have kids. And those kids are gifts. Gifts that these gods have taken for granted. So Fate decides to take them to where they would be treated like the gifts they are.
When nine demigods wake up in a land they don’t recognize, a land that feels wrong, they do what any normal person would do. Panic. Then they get their shit together and try to figure out how to get home.
The Olympians have mourned enough. Now they have nine new reasons to celebrate instead. And they will not let these gifts go so easily.

A highly ambitious post Arc 9 worldwide react fic with the plot advancing as a result of the reveals. This follows the web novels as it has the most plot. Will include IF routes and side stories reactions and attempt to steer toward Arc 10 plot points. The canon side stories will play followed by the IF routes as I think making the IF routes occur at the point the stories converge will be confusing. I didn't like how the characters could dismiss the loops as another them so in this fic the characters will suffer the pains they did in the failed loops including Subaru. I will not kill named characters in the present loop that haven't been killed in Arc 10.
