Summary
Nate had achieved everything. He had avenged his wife and found his son, even if it wasn’t in the way he had hoped for. He brought peace to the Commonwealth and built a thriving community for his friends and family in Sanctuary.
But the memory of what this home once had been never ceased to linger in his head - until he decided to make the impossible possible by building a time machine. He wanted to go back in time and relive the life that was taken from him. His companions? Friends and lover? They wanted to save Nate from a fate none of them could possibly comprehend.
Science and fate have their way and the companions stumble upon Nathan, a young man who turned out to be Nate's past self in a world before the Great War. Feelings of hope, despair, love and jealousy rise, as their time to find Nate runs low… -

This story is a one shot from a fan fiction called "Fallout Through Time", telling the story of our fellow favourite companions travelling to the past, before the bombs fell, to meet the young version of their beloved Nate, Nathan.
Paladin Danse, who might be in a relationship with Nate, but not with Nathan, can’t handle the way the other companions try to get with Nathan, so he heads out into the strangely familiar but at the same time unknown Commonwealth of 2072.

He doesn’t need to meet our standards; he’s his own species! Some things he might need to change in his daily life to adapt to Erid life, but his food habits don’t need to be one of them. My words don’t comfort Grace like I thought they would. Grace shrinks into himself, and I wish I were on his side to hug him.
or the Entities provide Grace with a culture teacher to prepare for life on Erid and he gets his first taste of Eridian inhospitality.
