“What the hell were you two thinking? Getting napped by the league? Really? Aren’t we better than this?”
“I was not willingly taken, I will have you know. I am not helpless, Todd.”
Dick flinched, thinking back to the circumstances when he had agreed to come with the league members for the sake of his brothers. Tim palmed his shoulder before cutting in.
“They used Damian to distract me, caught me off guard. I thought they were killing him.”

Summary
Roarball was always known for its unique stadiums, teams, and most importantly: its play. Its courts were brutal, injuries and suspension dates were common, and paramedics were on the scene at least twice a week.
And while being the first and probably the only small to ever join Roarball had its perks, turned some heads, and dragged in the money, it could only get Will so far.
The Thorns can only watch in horror as the odds unfold before them.

Summary
Damian al Ghul was four years old when the League taught him that obedience meant survival.
They strapped him to a chair, flooded his nervous system with sonic conditioning, and rewired his mind until pain became instinct and fear became permanent.
By the time Batman finds him, Damian is no longer just traumatized — he is conditioned. Broken apart by sound, by compliance, by years of engineered terror.
Recovery is slow. Painful. Nonlinear.
The Batfamily learns how to care for a child who flinches at every noise, who believes punishment follows mistakes, who doesn't understand kindness because he's never been allowed to have it before.
And just when Damian finally starts believing he's safe—
The League activates the conditioning again.
