    Summary

    The Avengers are the World's Mightiest Heroes!
    But what exactly does that entail?
    Our favorite heroes battle depression and anxiety even more than they battle evil aliens.
    They struggle with the same things everyone else does, and sometimes it's comforting to be reminded that they're not weak because of it... they're strong in spite of it.

    Doesn't really have a timeline, not very interconnected; just a bunch of random mental health-based stories that follow no particular chronology.

    The Thunderbolts knew about Sam, in a way. Somewhat. They knew, of course, that he and Bucky were friends, but not of their relationship. They knew that things had been complicated, with the argument over the Avengers title.

    Suffice to say, his teammates did not know that whenever Bucky left the tower, it was either to drive four hours to D.C. or to return to his (and Sam’s, at this point) Brooklyn apartment: the apartment that had two toothbrushes on the bathroom counter, an I LOVE CAPTAIN AMERICA mug in the kitchen sink, and a frankly impressive collection of vintage R&B vinyls.

    And Bucky wanted to keep it that way.

    Bucky squints at the aisle of dairy along the wall, hardly used to the overwhelming choices that came with modern times abundance, “Does it matter? Back in my day they sent one kind of milk and you dealt with it.”

    Sam elbows him for daring to question back, “Yes it matters, for bone density, obviously.”

    Bucky rolls his eyes, but smiles anyway, “Nerd.”
