Adio waits and pushes and tests him, but the moment never comes and Luffy is still here, still fighting for him and his worthless life that’s led to nothing. Adio feels worthless. He wonders why someone who shone as bright as the sun itself would ever want to be around someone such as Adio.His mind stirs and for the first time since his life was ripped away from him — so does his heart.
Luffy is naive, caring, free, and everything that Adio has yearned for. At long last his heart stirs... and so does the fire in his gut.
