And then suddenly quiet. He couldn’t hear Carl running after him anymore, the only sound being his heavy beating heart and the rain.
There’s no way Techno knows, right? How would he be able to tell Tommy was hiding here? He had to assume Tommy would try to get away as far as he could.
But why couldn’t he hear Carl anymore? Did they pass him already? That didn’t seem possible, he would surely hear them as they got further away from him.
A bright light illuminated his hiding place for a second, making him flinch in surprise. Tommy’s scream echoed through the forest as he stared straight into Technoblade’s eyes.
“You’re a long way from home, Theseus.”

Summary
Tommy is born into the Watsons house to his mother Kristin who didn’t make it through child birth. The family blamed Tommy for her death and Tommy eventually gives in blaming himself too. Tommy griefs for a mother he never knew, a mother he believes he killed. In the end though she knew she would die on that hospital bed but she couldn’t bare the thought of giving up on this child so she took death into open arms and welcomed Tommy into what she thought was a loving family and kind home. To her dismay she was horribly wrong for this was not the family she once knew. Tragedy can take peoples thoughts to horrible places sometimes.
