“Right,” Johnny swallowed. “So, uh–Did Stark say anything about room arrangements?” He asked. Peter was puzzled for a moment, well, tried to seem puzzled, like he wasn’t thinking about sharing a room with Johnny all week.
“Oh. He called a few days ago. Somehow someone had overthrown my room,” Peter huffed a laugh, again trying to ease the tension. “He said something about sharing with you.”
“Ok, good to know we both know that,” Johnny spoke swiftly, calculated, and calm. Peter knew it was forced, he had that sort of strain in his voice when he didn’t want to say something. “I just wanted to ask if you want to switch with someone.”

Summary
New Mexico was not the first time Thor had been a mortal. It was only a refinement of the technique. What if James Potter had been Thor, incarnated as a memoryless newborn? On his death, Odin removed his memories as James, due to grief. In Harry's Third Year, a reformed Loki restores them.
