Going through all of this old documentation again, I've been finding myself thinking back on things. I know you are moving up the chain soon, and leaving Site 45 behind, so this might be one of my last chances to say this.
I owe a lot to you sir, after what happened in Korea. You let me take the reins when it came to containment, you trusted me, and even though things weren't perfect by any definition of the word, you still stuck your neck out for me after it all. I won't forget that. I might be the subject matter expert on 1471, but you're the one who kept my head above water when the Council came knocking. A leather-bound journal. Many pages are missing from the first half of the book, the rest are filled with writings from a member of the Monolith faction. An oddity in and of itself, it contains an even rarer story. Hazy and incomplete first-hand accounts exist from the few surviving ex-members of the faction, but none besides this particular example are known to have both been created by an active Monolith member and to have survived the faction's collapse.

This is a multi-ship, multi-topic sprawl with several plot arcs. All I can say without serious spoilers is that both knitting and Molotov cocktails feature prominently, the question of how livestock science works in the post-apocalypse is thoroughly explored, and by the end of the series you’ll probably have learned a few words of Finnish. It’s about grief, love, magic, chosen family, and connecting with nature. Written over the first half of 2018, and besides minor details compliant with canon as it was then.
