The cabinets sit unevenly, wood water-warped and aged, with shelves that bow under the weight of Katsuki’s extensive spice rack. The appliances are a little outdated, and the backsplash is fucking ugly—Katsuki’s words, because Eijirou kinda likes the weird colors—and in the middle of the kitchen sits a thick slab of marbled stone breaking up the room, with half a handprint already singed into the side from when Katsuki stubbed his toe on the corner of it during the tour.
Just Eijirou and Katsuki, and the four edges of a countertop as the foundation for a life together.

Summary
When Katsuki's burrow gets caved in because of a blizzard, he is forced to seek shelter elsewhere, unfortunately he struggles to find a new place to call home. When he stumbles upon a darkened cave, he takes his chances, only to discover there's a hibernating bear within. With no signs of the bear waking up, he chances it for the night with the plan to search again in the morning. However, finding a new place to live in the middle of winter proves more difficult than he thought, and eventually, he decides to risk staying in the bear's cave.
All he has to do is be out before the snow melts in spring. It shouldn't be that hard. Right?

The raucous laughter at the counter died instantly as the stranger froze mid-motion, his mug remaining hovering an inch above the wood while the entire room seemed to lose its collective breath.
Two massive vivid crimson eyes, reflective like polished gemstones, turned to fix Katsuki with an intensity that should have been terrifying, but the silence lasted for only a moment before the creature's lips split into a wide grin that revealed rows of sharp, triangular teeth.
"And you're a pretty human."
— or the one where katsuki moves to a remote fishing village to research mermaid folklore for his book, only to realize the stories are real when eijirou becomes the first mermaid he ever meets.

Summary
Now, for as antisocial and socially inept as Bakugou is, he knows who Kirishima Eijiro is, everyone does. Kirishima is the school’s golden boy. Captain of the football team. He’s sickeningly friendly and, somehow, becomes friends with literally everyone he talks to. He has a sharp tooth smile that lights up every room he’s ever been in (Not that Bakugou noticed), and always wore that stupid letterman jacket over either a muscle tee or nothing at all (Not that Bakugou stared). He had this loud ass laugh that is impossible to ignore, (Bakugou knows, he tries) and bright as fuck, red hair that he spikes up, if he’s not wearing a snapback (Not that Bakugou has ever paid that much attention to it, or how soft it looks).

Bakugou Katsuki is UA's resident delinquent who secretly maintains a 4.0 GPA. Kirishima Eijirou is UA's star quarterback who is failing multiple classes. When Aizawa offers Bakugou extra credit to tutor him, he can't say no, not when this is his opportunity to steal the number one spot in the class. There's no way this can go wrong.
