Summary
In the year 2 BC Aegon Targaryen left Dragonstone to conquered Westeros, alongside his sister-wives Visenya and Rhaenys Targaryen and there dragons. By 1 AC the Seven Lords Paramount had bent the knee to Aegon and hailed him as there King.
Aegon began the construction and design of the Red Keep in King’s Landing that same year. Aegon constructed his own throne made out of the weapons of his defeated enemies and used his Dragon, Balerion, to meld them into a seat to be feared and desired by all across the Seven Kingdom. The Conqueror declared:
“Only a worthy ruler may sit upon the Iron Throne in comfort and all those unworthy shall die”

Summary
Old Valyria was older than all of the ancient worlds. The Valyrian peninsula was home to the oldest city known to mankind, Drakarsyar, and was witness to some of its greatest inventions and scientific discoveries.
However, that was all destroyed in the Doom of 1001, when the entire peninsula erupted in fire and smoke. Everyone who lived there died and only a few houses escaped in time, most prominently the Targaryens.
The ancient house, travelled for many years, setting up homes in Italy, Austria and France. In 1066, Aegon the Dragon, assisted William the Conqueror in his invasion of England.
In thanks the newly crowned King of England let Aegon choose any dutchy he wished and allowed him to rule it and his descendants as they saw fit. Aegon chose Dragonstone, a large estate near Canterbury, and built Dragonstone castle.
The Targaryens ruled over Dragonstone for hundreds of years and was unique in the way that in the laws of succession, men had a superior right to inherit. And the only way to change that was to split the entire dutchy equally amongst the present Dukes children -legitimate and not.

Summary
The first dawn brought the creation of the three Realms: The Realm of Stars, the Realm of Sun and the Realm of Souls. The Realm of Stars was where only the immortals lived, marked by three mountains: Mount Aegon, Mount Rhaenys and Mount Visenya and it was ruled by Aegon, God of Dragons, Rhaenys, Goddess of Love and Beauty and Visenya, Goddess of War.
The Realm of Sun was ruled by the oldest God who had not retired to the Realm of Stars. It was where all mortals lived and the King of said Realm ruled over the mortals. The King in the year 111 was Viserys, God of the Sky, he and his wife Aemma, Goddess of the Weather had four children: Rhaenyra, Helaena, Aegon and Amound, all gods and goddess of the seasons: Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter.
The Realm of Souls is where all mortals go after they die, it is ruled by Deamon, God of Death. Although he had many mistresses, including Mysaria, the Mistress of Misery, King Deamon never took a wife of his own and never had an heir. Mortals speculated that this was because, as God of Death, King Deamon could not create life nor love.

Summary
What if HOTD was better? This rewrite tries to fix major flaws present in the TV Adaptation of The House of the Dragons. Trying to keep close to the source material by GRRM whenever possible. This Fix-it is written/edited in a style found in TV scripts.
One of the major differences is the erasing of the aging down of Alicent. Instead of Childhood Besties, Alicent is a handmaiden and good friend to Aemma Arryn and an older sister figure (at first) to Rhaenyra.

My stare flickered across the room, a trill of fear slithering down my spine as quite abruptly I realized the Darkling was leaning against the door, studying me with near palpable intensity.
We sat in silence for what felt like an eternity.
"Do you make it a habit of watching people while they sleep?" I finally hoarsely inquired with an edge of sarcasm, making his lips twitch into that familiar ghost of a smile. It was enough to make my chest ache.
