Summary
Uzi hides in her workshop during a violent storm, overwhelmed by stress, fear, and emotions she doesn’t understand. N wanders in, clumsy but genuinely worried about her. Though Uzi tries to push him away, he gently calls out that she’s scared and doesn’t want her to be alone.

Summary
They hadn’t ever talked about it, but they were always actively Not Talking About It.
This looked something like a crowd of people, N and Uzi weaving through it, Uzi grabbing N’s hand, and then the crowd dissipating, and neither of them letting go. They hugged more often than N suspected most friends did. They had fallen asleep side-by-side in the same bed more times than he could count. Sometimes, it looked like talking on the couch late into the night – so tired it made him feel drunk – and then somehow they’d not be talking anymore, just looking at each other, Uzi’s dark eyes wide open and sweet, the world spinning on everywhere except this moment, which could be a million moments or just one, but certainly one that they weren’t ever going to talk about.
Maybe they could have, once, but ever since Uzi had shared her secret with him, that option had gone out the window.
