Summary
Seonghwa is on his way to becoming one of the most well-known faces of modeling after his name goes worldwide overnight. So it’s no surprise that his attendance at ATZ, fashion’s biggest night, is suddenly being questioned at every turn. Even though he can’t confirm or deny with confidence whether he’ll be going and his assistant, Wooyoung, is convinced his agency is trying to erase the fame Seonghwa’s worked so hard to obtain.
His worries seem to fade away when he gets a personalized invite from THE Hongjoong Kim, founder of the biggest new-generation fashion house in New York City, to collaborate on a piece for the prestigious event. He’s hardly inclined to say no, since it’s not like he’s got many options otherwise. Plus, Hongjoong’s a divine figure in these circles. Everyone knows that.
There’s just one problem.
Seonghwa doesn’t care about fashion at all.

Seonghwa can feel himself frown. “Hongjoong-ssi?”
The staff member nods expectantly. The lights suddenly seem very hot and bright and Seonghwa doesn’t know what to do. How would he describe Hongjoong? That he’s an absolute pain in the ass? That he thinks he’s better than everyone? That he bosses Seonghwa around when they’re alone?

Summary
Luxiron is a city split down the middle with a cold war between the two sections. On one side, the Elysian Mages strive to uphold the law and protect its citizens. Conversely, the Veil Syndicate holds its people in a vice grip, hellbent on taking the Mages out and taking the city for themselves. War, skirmishes, and conflict have existed between both sides for decades, and there doesn't appear to be an end in sight.
Park Seonghwa lives a good and safe life in Elysian Heights, unaffected by the war. He is the lead singer in an up and coming underground band called Void. His life is simple until he meets the mysterious Kim Hongjoong one night, flipping his entire world on its head. Hongjoong comes from Terrareach, and reason tells Seonghwa the man is dangerous and most definitely part of the Syndicate. He tells himself he shouldn't get involved with a criminal, but he can't deny the magnetic pull between them.
In a world that doesn't want them together and all of the secrets both hold, will they manage to fall in love, or is their relationship doomed before it even begins?

Mingi blinks down at the plate of meat. “How do I know you haven’t poisoned it?”
Yunho stops. He stops mid chew on his last bite to stare at the guy. Mingi doesn’t seem to be joking. He can’t stop the laugh that rips out of him. “If I wanted to kill you,” Yunho says, “you would be dead already.”

“Choi San is turning down a challenge, I never thought I’d see the day!” Seonghwa snorted, tilting his head.
“It’s not that I just…it seems like a waste of my time and their money” San chuckled anxiously.
“It could be. Or it could all work out perfectly. Imagine how great that would be for your reputation, the guy who put the Jung Wooyoung in his place!” Seonghwa smirked.
There was no way that San was going to be able achieve such a feat, from his brief research alone he knew that nothing ever deterred Wooyoung, not even the threat of prison. But, the pay was excellent, and the fact that he would even agree to take on the task would make him look fantastic.
He’d dealt with people like this many a times, sure they had been far younger, but San figured they were one in the same. Dealing with a spoilt man child for a few weeks was absolutely nothing to him, and perhaps at the end of it all he could buy the new car he’d had his eye on.
His broad shoulders slumped in defeat as he clicked on the ‘reply’ button of the email.
