“My blessing?” Skeptic pats him on the shoulder and Oppy could pretend that his smile was forced, pulled at the seams like how he frequently feels nowadays. There was no way his Skeptic would let him go like this. “You’re very considerate, Oppy. But I don’t think I can stop the two of you lovebirds now. Well, except if you’re planning on eloping. Then, I strongly advise against that.”

Skeptic had done a lot of mistakes he can't easily undo. But being permanently deleted is not a fate Smitten agrees with. Cold would like to oppose that.

Summary
Sebastian likes routine. A creature of habit and follower of norms, a being of conformity to its finest. He thrives in its rules and his role, his image of perfection highlighted by his adherence to the principle. In that way, he is disciplined like his brother and therefore beloved for his obedience to his place.
Of course, only Calder knows what's beyond Sebastian's caricature of a smile, beyond the veneer of someone who aims to please and appease, until he sees the core of what makes Sebastian… him.
Falling in love with him after barely registers as fact. Calder would not deny it felt almost like an inevitability, for those who would gaze beyond the abyss would find the abyss staring back. But Sebastian isn't like the abyss, he is the endless sky fulls of stars and the encroaching dawn.
