Or the little short stories of in between that fight with Six and Mono and when they meet up again seven years later.
(Heavily inspired by Fervidlizard32’s The Seven Year Nightmare. One of best fics I’ve ever read, that I just couldn’t get the thoughts out of my head about the seven years that Six spent on her own - with Sokage, of course - and so I decided to write it.)

Summary

On one such trip, disaster finds her in the form of a troublemaking purple rabbit, as the two find themselves victims of an incurable curse. Things are looking helpless until news emerges of a priceless artifact being stolen from within the palace walls, with the promise of having any dream granted by the DreamWeaver to whomever can retrieve it.
Accompanied by four strangers who share a similar fate, the two embark on a journey to retrieve the stolen artifact and break the bonds of their curse. But between this dangerous mission, her ever-persisting dreams, and a world of mysteries surrounding that damn rabbit, to Pomni, something just doesn’t feel right.

"What are you doing here?" Mike's face dropped as his eyes slid from El, past Max, and over to Will, "And what are you doing with them?"
"Shopping," El said with a blank expression on her face.
Max smirked, "This is their new look, what do you think?"
"You know she's not allowed to be here. And Will, how could you just run off like that, we were worried!" Mike glared straight at Max despite the fact part of what he said was directed at Will.
"What are they, your little pets? El can't leave the cabin, and god forbid Will strays more than three feet from your shadow, despite the fact you were completely ignoring him!" Max snapped right back.

Or... A rewrite of Stranger Things season 3 where Will leaves the mall with El and Max and helps them investigate while growing closer to both girls and becoming more confident in himself. Meanwhile, Mike considers what it might mean for him that he's more upset that his best friend ditched him to hang out with someone else than he is about his girlfriend breaking up with him.
