Chan looks down at the table for a moment, his eyebrows furrowing in concentration. “I’m not really sure what to ask,” he says, looking up. “How long have you been doing this?”
“A few months,” Hyunjin replies. “I’ve always been into the idea, and I finally decided to take the leap a while back. I’ve been on a handful of dates with four or five different vampires.”
“Oh, really?”
Hyunjin hums in affirmation. “It’s been a lot of fun.”
Chan hesitates before speaking again. “Can I ask why you do it?”
“I like to do it,” Hyunjin says easily. “I enjoy it when vampires feed from me. I love the feeling of vulnerability that comes from baring my neck to a creature that could kill me if they really wanted to.”
Hyunjin can see something in Chan’s eyes shift as he says it. He smiles.
“You’re a man who knows what he likes,” Chan says. “I admire that.”
