Danny retired after 20 years of being Phantom the last year of being phantom before he decided to put the mantle down and live and acquired area the Justice League had been chasing him and attacking him at every chance they got calling him a villain and seen him as evil.
Now the Justice League had knocked on his store asking for his help to look for phantom as they were in need of his help not knowing that the ghost that they have been chasing a year ago was the one they needed.
