Summary
The textbook definition of burn is to injure, damage, destroy with heat and fire. So someone, anybody, explain why when the only word that could encapsulate the pain in Reo’s throat was burning, searing hurt, the boy could only feel what is described as absolute, bitter cold, as chilly and seemingly empty as the voided gaze of his supposed “partner for life’s” eyes.

When you hit rock bottom, there’s nowhere else to go but up. And up Reo goes indeed, but how long until he falls again? And this time, will anyone pick him up again? Summary
On his way home from a Halloween party, Reo encounters a rough-looking stranger named Nagi. Since they’re both dressed up as werewolves, Reo takes Nagi in.
Some might find it strange that Nagi’s costume won’t come off and that he only eats raw meat, but Reo loves Nagi’s quirks, even when he starts to exhibit more and more canine traits.
However, when Nagi takes him to his pack’s mating ritual, Reo can’t help but get a little bit suspicious of his treasure’s true nature. Is he really just an innocent guy or does he have a darker—totally not obvious—secret?
