Summary
Lloyd likes ballet. He had done it for his training, to better his agility, of course. But his adoration for the dance went beyond just training. He adores the music, the art, and the hard work that goes into ballet. He's a bit of a fan boy in that regard. So when Cole gets a letter from his childhood best friend, from the Marty Oppenheimer School of Performing Arts with VIP tickets for a ballet she got the lead role in, he is inwardly ecstatic. Cole is excited as well, but not for the same reason Lloyd is. Harumi's death was hard on Lloyd. Although she used and tricked him, he had loved her and still held onto guilt after her death. Iris is an accomplished and dedicated ballerina. A simple and charming young lady who takes pride in being disciplined in everything she does. But it helps that she is a big fan of the Ninja. Especially Lloyd. Something she's written to Cole in surprising confidence. So with that fact, Cole sees an opportunity to play matchmaker. He's been communicating with Iris for years through letters after he ran away from school, and he knows that she is exactly what Lloyd needs. Hopefully this romance will end better than the previous one.
