But now, in an abandoned part of the mines with giant fatui agents that were all too eager to be by his side for now, he couldn't help but look them up and down, his cheeks growing a faint pink whenever Temur had caught him staring, bandages moving around his lips, smirking under them.

Pomni loaded the gun and pressed it to the side of her head, glaring at Jax. The only reason she was doing this was to end this stupid fight. She hoped that maybe, if she cut it short here, he would forget about the whole thing and they could go back to being friends, sort of.
Jax’s expression barely budged but Pomni could see the anger still brewing within him. She sighed once more before pulling the trigger.
