For FengQing Week 2025
Day 1: Red string of Fate/Soulmates
Day 2: Protection/SafetyHusbands Mu Qing (a historian) and Feng Xin (not a historian) are invited to the opening of a recently restored temple to ancient martial gods General Xuan Zhen and General Nan Yang. A tour that takes them quite literally into a trip to the past as they keep seeing themselves as the gods they are learning about. Confused emotions blossom within them giving way for a fight that has never been theirs to fight. Nevertheless, soulmates are destined to meet in each lifetime, and once again Mu Qing and Feng Xin will find their way to each other, with a little help from Generals Nan Yang and Xuan Zhen.

Summary

Unfortunately, he has nothing to offer Mu Qing now, no riches and no luxuries, so he keeps his feelings hidden...that is, until a high fever loosens his tongue a bit too much.

Summary
Feng Xin arrives home after a miserable day to find Mu Qing's poor-excuse of a boyfriend leaving. As he walks in, it becomes clear that the guy didn't really care about the state he left Mu Qing in and so it is in Feng Xin's hands to provide Mu Qing with some well deserved aftercare. Although he is unsure on what to do, there is nothing he wouldn't try for Mu Qing.

As the car stops in front of a traffic light, Yoongi turns to look at him, eyes gleaming in the dark. “That’s what you’re looking for?”
“Yeah.” Jeongguk swallows heavily, nodding. “If you want to go on dates that’s totally fine t—”
“No,” Yoongi says, looking at him through the strands of his dark hair. “I can’t do the whole—dating, boyfriend—thing. It’s not for me Jeongguk. If that’s what you want, I can’t give it to you. But I can give you what you need. I can give you a good time.”

Summary
"Dazai..." Chuuya's voice comes out too tight and small, unlikely to ever reach Dazai. His hand lifts shakily, in some dazed attempt to stop him. There is panic wild and fast in his chest, the beginnings of hyperventilation, his breaths shallow and quick.
Something's wrong, something's wrong—
This hurts too much, it's not supposed to be like this—
His vision is blurring, and his head is taut and aching with the stress and anxiety and so much anguish that he can barely comprehend it.
The last of Dazai's hazy form disappears, far in the distance.
_______Forced into a difficult situation, Dazai has to leave Chuuya behind post-Corruption without his usual thorough check-up. Only, he has no idea just what state Chuuya was in as he was walking away from him that night.
Grief is a good teacher on how to value those you love. When he gets Chuuya back, Dazai uses his lessons well.
