Summary
Some say when the Three Calamities struck, it rewrote time, some say it restarted it, and still other say that it melted and merged realities, plucking bits and pieces of worlds like strings on a harp to create something new and different and better.
Jimin doesn’t know the truth of these theories, all he knows is the sea and the stars and his ship. He sails and scavenges and does not dwell on the hollow, empty parts of himself that search for something more. He knows his life wasn’t always like this, but whatever he had before is gone and he is alone in the world.
All that changes amidst the ruins of a fallen city one glittering afternoon, where Jimin follows a feeling and finds a mer with hauntingly familiar eyes, trapped in the tank of an old aquarium. They shouldn’t know each other—can’t know each other, and yet…
This is the way the world ends, not with a bang but a song.

Summary
For over a decade, Jimin has struggled to cope with the inexplicable alter ego inside his mind. His options are exhausted, and the strain of hosting two entities in one body has reached its peak. In a final plea for help, he lands in the lap of famed exorcist Min Yoongi: the part-time religious studies professor, full-time priest who deals violence across the supernatural plane. His work promises peril, and his religious piety seems lax at best, but his promise to expel Jimin's alter is sure. The only question is whether Jeongguk will allow it.
Yoongi assess him. "What does it have you do?"
Jimin's mouth shuts with a clack. He can feel a tension behind it, a flash of emotion that isn't his own—a smirk that builds from the bottom of his gut, tight and confident.
