So, when the gun turns on Harold, Nobu moves. Not even a split second. Just instinct. And in that moment as he lays on the ground. His blood pooling, his heartbeat thumping in his ear. It is Sameul’s voice that echoes from a memory telling him I love you, and it is Harold’s scream of rage that lulls him into unconsciousness.

The smug, cooing edge in the alpha's voice rubbed him the wrong way, and oh, how he wanted to beat some sense into the alpha.
“Listen, pup,” Yeonjun gritted through his teeth instead, holding onto the edge of the table to refrain himself from actually punching Soobin’s pretty face and tuning out the alpha's scent to keep an edge to his voice, “I’m not sure if you know how it works, but the older I get, the harder it’ll be for me to give you an heir.”

Dick rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly. “I’m mostly used to sparring with my little brothers, it’s kind of just habit, and I was having fun. I didn’t want the match to be over too quick.”
“Too quick?” Derek asked, eyebrows raised. “I’m twice your size, kid.”
Dick shrugged. “So’s Bruce and we’re pretty much tied at this point, or at least according to the score board the kids started to keep for Saturday spars.”
“Saturday spars?” Derek repeated, following him towards the locker room.
