The pain is extraordinary. Vincent’s fangs tear through her flesh like a hot knife through butter, bringing up a well of fresh, bright blood. His eyes stay trained on hers as the first droplets sprinkle into his waiting mouth—but then her blood starts flowing in earnest, dripping down the sides of his face, staining the pillowcase underneath his head, and Vincent’s eyes close. The guttural moan he makes fills the empty room, raising goosebumps on Tifa’s skin, making her gasp.
He drinks from her like a parched man drinks from an oasis.
It was supposed to be a simple arrangement. Vincent would teach her how to strengthen her magic, and she, in turn, would let him drink her blood.
Tifa had no idea how it'd all gotten so damn complicated.

But as Vincent lifts his bandana to her eyes, securing the fabric behind her head, her world becomes submerged in darkness—perfect, pitch-black darkness, absent of anything that can harm her. No Meteor, no Mako, no Shinra, no enemies. Just the empty void and the feeling of Vincent's chest against her back as he holds her, stroking the ribbons on her wrists, her arms, her chest. Her worries fade into bliss, coaxed by the vines that bind her body.
The world is ending. Tifa, consumed with worry, can't stay still. Vincent, armed with a spool of cherry red ribbon, shows her how.

The events in this one shot take place post game. Tifa and Cloud had just started dating. After hearing this Vincent who has had feelings for Tifa for quite some time, starts to make his move by helping her out at 7th Heaven waiting tables. Cloud is out, making deliveries for his transport business, the kids Marlene and Denzel are at school. The lunch rush was just about over as Tifa was cleaning up in the kitchen. Vincent had been playing the long game trying to get her attention, but after days of working there with no result he began to get desperate. Alone in the kitchen, he finally confesses to her causing her heart to jump.
