“I think Mr. Lee has a girlfriend,” Jisung whispers and Chenle gasps, slapping a hand over his mouth.
“Which Lee?” Chenle asks, still in a hushed manner.
“Mark Lee, literature teacher? My literature teacher,” Jisung clarifies.
“Um, I mean, this isn’t that surprising. He’s just… not single.” Sungchan says, drawing his words out slowly as if afraid that he would be under attack for stating the obvious.
“No, no. Get this.” Jisung places his hands on the table, very seriously levelling both boys with a stare. “I heard him on a call with someone and he said, very clearly: ‘Babe, I’m like one staff room away, can’t you just meet me here?’”
