Summary
Once they made it to the end of the pier, Ilya shoved Shane up against the lighthouse to kiss him.
"I am already having so much fun, малыш,” he breathed. “I love everyone seeing you in this.” He used the collar to pull Shane closer to him, kissing deeper before drifting to turn Shane against him to take in the skyline further down the coast. From their spot on the pier, they were close to the party that continued into the water, where sailboats and yachts lined up parallel to the shoreline. The ones closest to them gave a friendly wave, and Shane giggled as he and Ilya waved back.
Shane felt a peace settle over him, different than the way he relaxed at home or slipped into subspace. He was happy to be here, happy to be just two more gay guys in a crowd of hundreds, happy to have a space to enjoy himself guilt-free, happy to do it with Ilya. Ilya had done such a good job of getting him to this point in his life, and he wanted to worship Ilya as a thank you.
OR: Shane brings Ilya to the beach — a clothing-extremely-optional, queer beach — to show off a little.

Hayden is truly glad that the times of Shane torturing himself by being in the closet are over. But. Well. This conversation is kind of making him miss those days.
