Summary
The champion’s spirits and the shrine of resurrection had all given him powers. Powers of protection, of flight, of strength, of undying, and of healing. He hadn’t truly known what he was meant to do with these powers until he’d learnt of his failure to the kingdom and its people. He’d prayed to the goddess for guidance, and all she’d answered was “Go, and bring peace to Hyrule.” And so he understood. These powers were given to him to atone for his hand in the turmoil that was brought upon the kingdom.
Wild has been reborn with the ability to transfer wounds from other peoples bodies to his own, he takes this as a sign.

Summary
Neil turned to look out the window, letting the smoke burn through his lungs longer than he should’ve. It hurt; it made him feel real again. He let it out slowly, afraid time might slip away with the exhale, and he’d become this smoke dissipating into the wind once more.
If it were a year ago, he would write this off as his memory being odd. It always had been. Conversations he was present for slipped away, and more than just possessions got lost between the cities they stayed in. If this were a year ago, he’d write the missing hours away because he’d been jumbled and upset, and his mind didn’t always hit the record button for the bad stuff. But he wasn’t just surviving for himself anymore.

Summary
Champion Link, the beloved and respected leader of Hyrule Kingdom, had a problem. Technically, he had eight problems, all of which were wandering around the Lost Woods looking very out of place. Had he known that another Journey would come looking for him, he would've made preparations. Now, a ghost among the living, he had to leave the kingdom he spent so long revitalizing and travel with eight incarnations of the Hero's spirit. Luckily, he wouldn't be going alone.
