Summary
Dick and Jason had been together a few months now, dates, kissing, the whole nine yards of a relationship. Neither of them were really used to it to be fair, and it came with a hell of a lot more talking about things than they ever could have imagined. So it wasn’t abnormal when Jason had come up to Dick and asked him if they could talk, not that that didn’t fill Dick’s heart with just a little bit of panic. All of that stress was released when Jason explained his heat was coming up and that he would like to spend it with him.

Nearly a decade after clawing his way out of his own coffin, Jason returns to Gotham to settle old debts. In the apartment across the hall, Dick is haunted by his brother's presence everywhere he turns.
In four months, the clown will be dead."'Tis an unweeded garden that grows to seed; things rank and gross in nature possess it merely," Jason muttered under his breath, gazing up at the thunderous sky. The logical course of action would tell him to wait until summer, when the aches and pains were nothing more than a phantom, but the more satisfying conclusion held his interest. Four months—then he'd settle what he came to this graveyard of a city to do. It would be more satisfying in winter. A bookend to the life of Jason Todd, a cremation that he would rise from the ashes of. As who, he wasn't really sure.
