“Ah, some Ionian story my Ma told me as a kid. I remembered it earlier. About the tree and all the universes.” Aphelios looked confused. “She said there was a legend that every version of something that could ever be exists ‘cause they’re too beautiful not to exist. The tree is covered in white flowers when it grows here. But it would also look great with purple flowers. So there’s a world or universe or something somewhere where the tree has purple flowers. It’s too beautiful of a thing to not exist. My Ma said it's like that for everything, in the legend or whatever.”
“And me?”
“Wonder if you're the same as the other Phel’s out there. I mean, you can’t get cuter, can you?” Aphelios blushed. Sett grinned. “Nah, you’re this perfect in each universe. I know it.”
