“It is getting late,” Dragon agreed, his voice growing softer. “Why don’t you just stay over?”
Crocodile let out a derisive snort. “In this dump?”
“The bedroom is nicer than the rest of the house.”
Crocodile narrowed his eyes. Even before he met Dragon’s gaze he knew the meaning behind those words.
“In your dreams,” he growled.
“Certainly sometimes,” Dragon replied, without even a hint of shame. Crocodile would have hit him, if he didn’t think that’s what Dragon wanted him to do.
