At least he thought they were. But Chosen has been distant as of late. They were never super close but it was obvious that Chosen was actively avoiding him at this point. They all knew it, but no one said anything about it. They all figured that Chosen would either figure it out on his own, or go to one of the about it.
So here they were, Vic and Chosen sat opposite each other on their shitty old couch, the sinking feeling of dread getting heavier and heavier in Vic’s chest.

Summary
Second jolted awake, the echos of his friends cries and the flashes of their horrified, pained looks rung through his head.
Nightmares were a common things for both them and their brothers, and most of the time it was just silly fears visualized, for them at least. Other times, the nightmares were downright terrible. Second was pretty sure their brothers got the brunt of the terrible ones, but none of them really ever talked about it. Regardless, they kicked off their blanket and swung their legs over their bedside, pushing himself up and heading towards his bedroom door.

Second has a nightmare, so he seeks out his siblings for comfort. Unfortunately, they’re fucked up too.

“Tsushima Shuuji,” Chuuya reads out loud. “A bright, optimistic young man with a pep in his step and a zest for life. Hang on–is this referring to you?”
“Unfortunately,” Dazai laments, sighing dramatically. “You just got away with ‘science nerd’ and ‘soccer player,’ but I’m supposed to be an artist! I hate art! It’s useless!”
“Shut the fuck up. That’s not the problem here. You? A ‘zest for life?’ Looking forward to each new morning? Hah! Rimbaud would sooner come back to life.”
Dazai turns to Chuuya with the barest facsimile of a smile painted over his lips.
“I,” he says sweetly, “am going to gut you open like a fish.”
Dazai and Chuuya are seasoned mafiosos at the ripe old age of almost-seventeen. They’ve fought gang wars, interrogated prisoners, and done all manner of unspeakable things. Now, they face their greatest challenge yet: going (undercover) to a real high school. With regular teens (who may or may not be desperately trying to get them to kiss).
