Summary
Rodolfo never considered himself a light sleeper. Also never really thought of himself as a heavy one. Truly he never really thinked about it. He slept thank you very much and slept as well as he could when he was able to, because in his profession some shut eye was always necessary.
But others seem to be interested in disturbing his very much needed rest. Seems to have theories about it too.

Summary
Rodolfo Parra is left to burn by himself, smoke plaguing his lungs and fire threatening to swallow him whole. He teeters between keeping his eyes open and sleeping forever, desperately clinging onto that voice that begs him to stay awake, to stay with him.
He blacks out.
For a while, he thinks he’s reached the end. He’s filled with regrets for what he failed to say, regrets for what he failed to do. He begs God, or whoever the fuck that will hear him, for a second chance.
Rodolfo does wake up, but everything isn’t as it seems. The infirmary is the same, and so is himself and the fact he was almost burned alive. But then, the man is given the biggest jumpscare of his life when he realises his soul has been transported into a parallel universe where everything’s the same, except, he’s been married to his best friend for years now.

“Hey, I’m here, yeah. The bad man’s gone and he won’t be back. Okay.” Soap wraps his arms around him. And Rodolfo is finally warm again, and held, and he can finally breathe in. But when he breathes out it’s a wail.
“Shh. I know. I know.” Soap gently cups his face again. “I was bullied too. I know what that fear’s like. Only mine was only at school. Your bully was in your home. You had no escape.”
“And now he’s here.” Rodolfo says around sobs.
