Some time after he fell from the train, after Zola was captured, Bucky is held captive by the Soviets who found his body in the Austrian alps.
All he wants to do is get out of here. No matter the cost. He would love to see his family again, Mother, Pa, Annie, Becca, Lizzie, Steve, but… as much as he hates it, that’s not exactly a realistic option right now…
Bucky looks down at the gun in his hand.
