Tommy, a piglin hybrid, has been through too many foster homes.
Often, they were bad ones. Pulling on his tail, ears, hair. Making him shave down his tusks and hooves, clipping his ears.
Abuse.
He'd seen it all.
But never this. Never this, specifically.
Never a full household, a full sounder of piglin hybrids. That was definitely new. But it seemed that were missing one key role.
A runt. And Tommy was one.

Summary
Tommy had grown used to his servitude over time. He might have even said he's grown fond of his "Masters.” Who, of course, showed him their faults.
Phil had a tendency to ignore some of the bruises he received from some of the other servants. Tommy supposed it was only natural he was still only a servant but one couldn't blame him for being a little hurt considering the man would also sometimes invite him to family dinners or just invite him to sit with him in his study on more quiet evenings.
Techno was more attentive to Tommy's injuries. Ironically, however, he would add some of his own after inviting Tommy to “lightly” spar with him. Other times he would read to Tommy in the library if he'd found a book he was excited to share. Sometimes Tommy suspected that maybe Techno was fond of him because of his hair and eye color, but he had to admit he didn't mind the attention.
And Wilbur.
Wilbur was affectionate and doting and sweet and attentive.
Wilbur was Tommy’s favorite of the three. Almost begrudgingly so.
Wilbur had a tendency to pull pranks.

Summary
It's not odd for kings to have a changeling around for all their magical needs. All it takes is a bit of iron and a firm hand to keep them in line. As such, some get sold instead of killed when found out. Technoblade supposes he's lucky to be alive, considering he wasn't the best changeling.
It's hard to feel grateful for much of anything with the bone deep pain of iron always pulling him down.
When a new changeling is brought the castle, the same iron cuffs around their wrists, Techno's not quite sure what to do. Wilbur at least seems nice enough on first approach. Though, he can't quite shrug away the feeling that something is very strange with the other, changeling or not.
