Summary

Summary
Rene Flores is an 18-year-old boy, living in San Diego with his father, brother, and sister. When Pearl Harbor is bombed, bringing America into the war, the three siblings decide to follow in their father's footsteps and join the cause.
The three planned on joining the Marines together, but on the way to the enlistment office, Rene sees a poster talking about being the best and fighting with the best, with the Airborne, and his curiosity gets the best of him.
