Makoa Tanaka has loved being in the water ever since he was in his early teens.
One fun day at the beach had ignited his passion for surfing, so he continued to pursue his love for it. By 17, he was considered a professional surfer and had participated in several competitions that further improved his skill and passion for the water.
At 19, during one of the biggest competitions of his life; the sky turned green and had encased everyone on the planet in stone. Mid-competition, Makoa was cast from his surfboard and was forcefully plunged into the ocean.
Over the course of 3700 years, Makoa Tanaka was carried by the waves from Yokohama Japan- to the coast of Tokyo Japan.
Later awakened by the Kingdom of Science, Makoa's new life in the Stone World wasn't one he had expected (but it was certainly welcome).
Especially the blonde sea captain that also shared love for the water.
