Summary
Born the heir of the Hasmonaean Dynasty and having links with the Herodians, Jesus of Nazareth was thrust into a world of political turmoil and chaos. First Century Judea was a land divided, with several Jewish movements all vying for the hearts and minds of the masses, from the Pharisees and Sadducees to the violent band of Zealots founded by Judah of Galilee. It was in this world that Jesus preached his message of love, tolerance, and compassion, where he went against the traditional views of Judaism and founded a movement that, in time, came to be the dominant religion in the world, with all the good and bad that entailed.
This book examines the man's life as the author understands it based on years of extensive research and study, revealing who, in their opinion, he was, what he taught, and what he stood for.Bookmarked by Noratsuki13

Summary
In this literature, we embark on a unique journey through the vast landscape of the Old Testament, not as a complete retelling, but rather as a compelling compilation of parallel narratives seamlessly woven into one cohesive narrative from the book of Genesis to the prophet Malachi. The concept of this endeavour lies in recognising that the books of Kings and Chronicles recount similar events, but are left as parallel narratives without a concerted effort to merge them into a singular storyline. Unlike the Four Gospels, these Old Testament accounts have remained largely disparate, waiting to be unified into a singular, coherent narrative. The basis of this harmonization is the One Year Chronological Bible, a remarkable compilation meticulously crafted by layman Frank DeReemer, using the New King James Version of the Bible translation. This chronological arrangement serves as the guiding light, organising the sacred text into a structured timeline, and facilitating a deeper understanding of the historical context and thematic progression. Any occurrences of God's holy Name will be translated as "YHWH" and it is up to the reader how to pronounce it which is either "the LORD", "Yahweh" or "Jehovah".
