"People usually don't get this chatty on the meds," Fushiguro said dryly, checking the readout on the monitor. "Please try not to fall asleep. We need to keep you awake for now."
"I'd love for you to keep me awake," Yuuji murmured, his lips curving into a dopey smile.
He giggled again, the sound low and almost breathless. It was kind of ridiculous, how much drugs seemed to loosen his tongue. But hey, he was pretty sure he'd be mortified by this later, so might as well have fun while he could.
Fushiguro gave him a blank look.
"It's funny because I'm gay," Yuuji explained, laughing again. "See, because I'm into dudes."

Summary
Megumi’s flushed cheeks are a sight to behold, for all that the lighting is dim and the graininess of Sukuna’s throwaway phone adds a distasteful blur to Megumi’s features. He’s just as beautiful as the sullen little boy that had haunted Sukuna’s every waking thought since he’d hit puberty — moreso, now that he’s grown into his lanky body and filled out with lithe muscles.
It’s miraculous that Yuuji hasn’t jumped him. If Sukuna had been fortunate enough to have Megumi as his boyfriend, living in his apartment and sharing the same bed as him, he would’ve kept Megumi pinned to it until it broke beneath them.
No matter though. Yuuji hadn’t fucked him yet — hadn’t done more than jerk off together, if his little tirade after Megumi stormed out had been anything to go by — and there were other firsts that Sukuna could claim.
If Yuuji was too much of a pussy to make his boyfriend a cock-starved whore, then Sukuna would do it for him.

Summary
Megumi starts walking again and Yuji peels his eyes away from the dark blue walls to watch him approach. “Hey,” Yuji says softly. “Suguru sent me to find you.”
And it’s something about the look in Yuji’s eyes. Like seeing Megumi puts him at ease. Because Megumi is all too familiar with that feeling. It’s exactly how Yuji had always made him feel. Like content is too small of a word for the comfort he feels when they’re together.
He realizes with a kind of awe, standing here in his childhood home, that Yuji is also his home. Megumi’s chosen home, his chosen person. The mirror opposite of his own soul that fits so perfectly with Yuji’s that it feels effortless.
Which is why he doesn’t stop in front of Yuji when he finally reaches him. He continues walking until they’re almost pressed together. Then he leans forward and rests his head on Yuji’s shoulder, his arms hanging limp by his sides.
“Well, you found me,” he whispers.

Summary
Megumi was especially frustrated when one of his female co-workers seemed to blatantly flirt with one of the chattier, pink haired firefighters. They were talking closely, the firefighter inspecting a ‘burn’ (which was only a small circle of pink around her wrist) while his co-worker winced in pain.
She wasn’t a great actress, for what it was worth, her lips curled up into a barely concealed smile while tan fingers caressed the poor excuse of a wound. It was a brazen attempt at flirting, direct and cliche in a way that left Megumi mournfully rolling his eyes. As though the entire microwave situation wasn’t bad enough, now he was forced to spend his after work hours witnessing a painfully awkward and one sided display of courting.
Even the soft sound of her laugh ground at his nerves like lemon applied to a fresh wound, acidic and burning, a sore thorn in his side. It was overdramatic, too enthusiastic and obnoxious, as if she were hanging on to each and every word that left the firefighter’s lips.
His teeth ground together almost painfully hard. He knew whatever the pink haired man was saying couldn’t be funny enough to warrant such incessant and obnoxious cackling.
