That classic ‘I need you to help me pretend to my family that I’m in a relationship by bringing you home for the holidays’ fic, except all Celine wants to know is that Rumi has friends, and Rumi… hasn't really been concentrating on that aspect of her life. She wants to be promoted next year, she doesn't have time to make friends. Which is probably why the only people she can think to ask home for Christmas are the two women she had a threesome with six months ago.
Chaotic but established Zoey / Mira, workaholic lonely Rumi, supportive guardian angel Celine. A bit of silly semi-cracky Christmas fun. Will be coming at you like an advent calendar, with one scene a day through December until Christmas - but because chapters are based mostly on scenes they could be 500 words or 2000 words or anywhere in between - please expect zero consistency. Summary
The blade is a familiar, steady threat, gleaming at her daughter’s throat.
“Ah, you’re home.” The voice is a shock of history, plucking at something inside her that longs to harmonise, but Celine can’t look away from the point of that weapon, the whitened pressure of the skin underneath it, the unhidden pattern bared to view.
“Cel—” the blade bites deeper as Rumi’s voice starts, as Celine takes a step forward in helpless response.
“Rumi,” Celine says, her voice wavering. “It’s okay. She won’t hurt you.” Her eyes flick up, once, to the cold, twisted hatred in a face she once loved, to the glittering determination there, and there’s an icy feeling of certainty that she just lied to her daughter, something she’d long since promised to avoid. “Ha-Eun.”
Celine has always tried not to lie to Rumi, but even after the Idol Awards, there remain some things left unsaid. The Third Sunlight Sister’s return forces them into the light.

“I'll give you exactly one second to either show your true form or be sent back to Gwi-ma, Demon.”
Zoey appeared beside her, firm and unyielding, though there was a shadow of doubt clouding her eyes. Still, her voice didn't let it show when she spat, “This is a new low, even for demons.”
The creature just looked closer to tears and even more lost now, scrunching its tiny face in fear and confusion, like the mere threats were harming it.
You aren't fooling anyone Mira thought, but her heart hurt at the sight.Rumi still wasn't there.
And Mira's frown deepened, not lessened, as the demon stuttered, then begged, “Wait, wait! I'm not evil, I'm yours!” Its lip wobbled and its voice sounded close to cracking. She turned and looked at Zoey, all wet, big brown eyes and pouty lips. “I'm your kid, I'm from the future! Please believe me, mommy.”

When Polytrix Kid arrives from the future, Mira quickly assumes she is just Rumi and Zoey’s child. Unable to find the courage to express her true feelings for them, she must come to terms with the fact that she won’t be able to live the life she dreams of as they prepare to send the Kid back to the future.

Summary
They're standing above her now. The thrum of the Honmoon as Mira draws her weapon brings her back to the present.
Rumi decided a long time ago that when this moment came, she would meet her death gracefully. Her avenging angels stand over her weapons blazing. She would go quietly. Screaming would upset Zoey and only make Mira angrier.
She's glad it's them. There's no better sight than her hunters taking down the evil that haunts their world. Bad luck that Rumi is that evil.
She knows it’s time and Rumi is determined to spare them the inconvenience of her screams.
