Summary
“Would you- Would you like something to drink?” Miles asks, like he’s trying to be a proper host while he’s holding onto the wall.
Tonight was already such a shitshow, what with the celebration of the trial’s conclusion. Really, he’s just glad Maya and Pearl decided to go up to the hotel room before it got too rowdy. By the time he got back downstairs, a drunken Edgeworth was thrust in his arms and he was tasked with bringing him home. He’s never letting Larry and Miles sit at an open bar together again if he can help it.
So, this is where they are at this point in the night.Bookmarked by Nightmarecrazyk

Summary
Phoenix knows the truth.
He was convenient.
A commoner with no connections, no noble ties—easy to manage, easy to dismiss. Someone who could be married off to Prince Miles Edgeworth without a fuss. The palace had taken him from his life, scrubbed him clean of his past, and slotted him into a role that fit their agenda. He is not a husband. He is a tool.
In the rare moments where Phoenix has allowed himself to think about it, the reality of their marriage stings. He doesn’t exactly have a reference for what a good marriage looks like, but even he knows that he is now bound to a stranger who treats him like a ghost.
OR: Arranged marriage + royalty AU where Phoenix agrees to marry Prince Miles Edgeworth to save him but Miles spends the first few years of marriage pretending that Phoenix does not exist.

Summary
“It’s our wedding vows,” Miles tells him.
Phoenix takes the paper gingerly, already bracing himself for the worst. He reads through it quickly, his heart sinking with each line.
He was right.
The terms are stark, and unforgiving—an agreement he does not want to sign but has to:
- Phoenix Wright cannot initiate a divorce, especially not during the election period. He will not publicly disclose his name or face as Miles Edgeworth’s husband. He is to remain invisible, a shadow in his own life.
- The penalty for any violation: two million dollars.[...]
“Forget the illusion that we’re married. You were sent to me as a hostage.”
Or: Manfred Von Karma wants to be the town mayor and so he arranges a marriage between Miles and Phoenix for his own political gain.
