Astarion straightened, a half grin on his lips now.
“Yes, I would assume you don’t usually make a habit of leaping into the muck at the slightest provocation, though your outfit says otherwise.”
He reached a hand toward her, palm up, offering to assist her out of the creek. Jen stared at it for a moment, half of her wanting to step forward and touch it, to verify its existence. The other half knew damn well that such an action would be a deadly folly.
“I think I’ll stay in the creek, thanks.”
She saw him stiffen, his gaze sharpening before he sneered his question at her.
“I’m sorry, do I know you?”
“Nope,” she responded, probably too nonchalantly. “But I know who you are. What I don’t know is how the hell you’re here.”
Set about a century after the events of Baldur’s Gate 3 and the fall of the Elder Brain, follow Astarion as he figures out how the hells to navigate this new plane he’s stumbled into with the help of his weird little guide. With any luck, between the two of them, they’ll be able to complete the quest he originally set out on.

Astarion had a nice simple plan, really: seduce the party leader for protection so she would never turn on him and use her to defeat Cazador. Too bad she had decided to play hard to get, and worse, Astarion soon found himself falling under the wizard's spell. Just what in the hells did he get himself into? He couldn't possibly fall in love with her, could he?

Summary
I heard the song "Me and Mr. Wolf" by The Real Tuesday Weld and was inspired to write this on my way to work. I have since quit that job and can now dedicate more time to writing so expect new chapters on the weekend. Some may be longer or shorter than others but I will update.
This is my loose version of Little Red Riding Hood with other fairytales mixed in. Enjoy the ride!
