Summary
When Venti finds a stranger in his apartment that he was sure he left locked, he certainly didn't expect this.
“Hello Venti,” the golden-haired stranger says, his lips turning upwards to a soft, sad sort of smile. Venti can’t help but feel that this type of smile doesn't fit his face. Too sad. Too fragile. “I’m Aether, and you died to save me and my sister.”
What.
“What?”
Or: Venti keeps housing strangers who know him somehow in his cramped, one-bedroom apartment. He has multiple questions about the situation he finds himself in but hey, at least he isn't quite so lonely anymore. It's the little wins.
Or: Or: Vent dies. The twins refuse to take that ending. Time and Dimensions unravel and the threads of fate entangle to something new yet familiar.

Those are some of the first words Ajax, starving college student extraordinaire, has the misfortune of hearing upon waking up in a brave new world from what he's fairly sure is a very fatal accident involving water and a shit ton of electricity.
Okay, so he's not dead. That's good. But what's this about him being stuck playing the character Tartaglia? Tartaglia, as in the no-good, one-dimensional, cartoonish villain who met his untimely, gruesome death in the first act of the original game?
Forget this. Like hell Ajax is going to share that fate.
And so begins one man's journey to save himself from his awful destiny.

Summary
Kaeya never dreamed that a simple mission of taking out a Fatui base could go so incredibly wrong.
After an unfortunate accident, Kaeya becomes a child, slowly losing his memories of his estranged brother and home. Diluc is determined to do whatever is necessary to get his brother back, and restore the Cavalry Captain back to his former self.
But will the Fatui's sinister plot be more than either of them or the Knights can handle?

Somewhere between the first glass of wine and the last, between a solemn oath and an offering to a god, Venti gets bound in a contract to protect and care for the last of Alberich line. Sure 1000 years ago Venessa had banned him from babysitting, but he can handle this freshly traumatized seven year old.
Crepus would beg to differ. He takes one look at this “irresponsible alcoholic teenager” playing parent and decides he needs to step in.
OR: Papa Alberich gets lost and ends up leaving Kaeya with a friendly bard instead of at the winery. Venti adopts Kaeya…and Crepus adopts them both.
OR: The Anemo Archon, a Khaenri’ahn spy, and a Fatui Harbringer all think they have figured out what is going on but they are all playing very different games.
