Summary
Will looked over just in time to see, well, himself.
The spectre of himself on the screen was frozen still, wearing a white prison outfit that Will was certain that he hadn’t worn before. What was more disturbing, was the transparent mask covering the lower half of his face, like a muzzle of sorts. His face was startlingly pale, bloodless lips quirked up in a dangerous smile. Will watched, enraptured, as his own dead eyes, devoid of emotion, stared back.
He heard Alana’s soft gasp, but it was distant and hazy.
A chyron at the bottom part of the screen declared the phrase ‘Embrace the Madness’.
That… definitely didn’t help his case. His insides went cold then hot all over as his eyes finally rested on the last line.
Emblazoned in a menacing tone of dark red, was the word ‘HANNIBAL’.

Summary
Two thousand years ago, Cetra Potter faced the Calamity from the Skies and sort-of-half-way-won.
History, unfortunately, got the details wrong.
In the modern age, the world remembers the Cetra as a lost race who held back Jenova’s destruction. No one remembers the girl who stood alone against an alien horror, shattered herself in the process, and was sealed away in a green orb marked with the Deathly Hallows. Weak, wounded, and trapped in what everyone else insists on calling Materia but to her is little more than a paperweight, Cetra wakes to a world that has misremembered her name, her magic, and the war she fought to save it.
All Cetra wants is to find a way home.
Unfortunately, the First-Class SOLDIERs have other ideas — and once Sephiroth, Genesis, and Angeal decide that the strange little spirit in the Materia belongs with them, escaping Shinra may be the least of her problems.
