Summary
When Phoenix decided to hunt after his friend and become a lawyer, he didn't expect that his world view would be completely turned upside down. Fantasy should have been just that: Fantasy. But not only did he have to witness his boss getting murdered only to miraculously disappear and reappear again, somehow he had to run for his life through a dark forest running from an overgrown wolf that definitely wanted to kill him. And let's not even start with his old childhood friend. The source of his biggest pain, who didn't seem quite finished with hurting him yet. Now Phoenix had to navigate this new world in his new career path and deal with his old friend who seemed so different from back then.
Miles was content. His world that had been built anew had been a perfect framed picture safely protected behind a thick panel of glass. But when a little stone suddenly crashed into and lodged itself in his carefully erected walls, he had to helplessly watch as the cracks slowly grew bigger and bigger, threatening to shatter his perfect life completely.
